AI Says Things That Never Happened

This is called AI hallucination. AI models sometimes generate details that weren't in your original entry. You can edit the snapshot or provide feedback to help improve accuracy.

How to transfer your journal to a new device

Turn on Tellself Cloud Backup on your old device and tap Force Backup. Use the same login method on your new device, enable Cloud Backup, then tap Restore Backup. Transferring between Android and iOS is only possible with Tellself Cloud Backup.

Is Tellself really free?

Do you read my journal?

No — your journal is stored only on your device. When you record, data is temporarily uploaded for AI processing and then disappears from our servers within minutes. Every transfer is fully encrypted.

Do you use my journal to train AI?

No. We don't store journals, so we don't have your data. We use enterprise-grade AI models that explicitly forbid training on user data. We improve the AI through anonymous ratings only.

We strongly recommend Tellself Cloud — it's more reliable, works across devices, and gives you full control. Use Google Drive only as a last resort.

Can you recover my journal if I lose my phone?

No — your journal is stored only on your device. The only exception is Cloud Backup. Enable it now — it's free, secure, and private.

How to delete your Tellself account

Go to Settings, then in the Account section select Delete Account and follow the instructions. This permanently deletes your account and is irreversible.

Will you increase my subscription price?

Only for new users. If you're already a member, your price stays locked for as long as you keep your subscription active.
